Kiruv and Spiritual Transformation
To guide secular Israeli youth in America from no Torah background to becoming true Bnei Torah, providing them with a structured and nurturing environment to grow in Torah, mitzvot, and Yiddishkeit.
Combating Assimilation
To counteract the devastating rate of assimilation by offering a strong Torah foundation, helping young Israelis stay connected to their Jewish identity and heritage.

To expand our facilities and build a new state-of-the-art campus that will allow more students to experience the transformative power of Torah, ensuring that no eager soul is turned away.
For the last 30 years, Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael has been at the forefront of Israeli kiruv in America.
We are currently one of the only Yeshivot in the United States dedicated to the needs of an ever - growing population of secular Israelis, thirsty for a new life of Torah and Mitzvot.
From no Torah to Ben Torah , our yeshiva caters to our students needs every step of the way .
With the help of Hashem, we have outgrown our limited physical space. Currently the dorm has room for only 25 young men. Many are on a waiting list.....
interested, eager and ready to learn in the yeshiva. If we say no, they return to where they came from:
facing the temptations of living the American Dream.
The rate of assimilation is devastating and it's critical to do whatever we can to stem the tide. We must scale up our operations to help quench even more thirsty souls than we have been able to until now!

As more secular Israelis arrive at these shores looking for a betterlife , our greatest need of the moment is a campus worthy of the next generation of Ba'alei Teshuva to be nurtured, educated and inspired .
